 This winter on Whidbey has proven to be an interesting one so far. Wasn't it just a couple of weeks ago that we had 50+ degrees and sun? We've already gotten one snow storm, have another on the horizon and who knows what Washington weather will throw at us next? With our usually mild climate, some dogs are not used to these frigid temperatures we've been getting. If you have a short haired dog, maybe a senior pooch or a pint sized pup, they might benefit from a nice fleece or waterproof jacket. We have a great selection in numerous sizes. Maybe a cozy fitted fleece from GoldPaw in fun colors is what you're after. Or if you've got a more rough and tumble pup, a Windhorse blanket is more up your alley. It's a great way to get to know our local businesses (of course we are one of the stops). This is the perfect opportunity to work on leash manners, get some socialization for your pup, or just some much needed winter exercise. If you decide to bring the pooch, we recommend having at least two humans in your party. One human to go into the business and get the chocolate, and the other human to stay outside with the dog.
